This Year At Bentworth Elementary Center our students are using the new three R's: Recycle, Reuse, and Recreate. This year our students have taken everyday elements such as pop cans, water bottles, egg cartons, and paper towel rolls and transformed them into works of beautiful ART!
Also this year, Bentworth Art Students are lucky to have Miss Masa, the new student teacher. Enjoy some of the pictures we have taken this year so far!

Check out 2nd Grades Mosaics These students took recycled paint chips and turned them into beautiful clouds, rain drops, and rays of the sun! "PIECING THE PUZZLE"
Here we have 1st grade and their Organic and Inorganic Landfills These students took recycled pieces of cardboard and added Styrofoam, processed paper, sandpaper, plastic, dyed sand, and magic marker to create a Inorganic Landfill. The other students took recycled cardboard and used natural materials such as leaves, popcorn, coffee, rice, and fruit loops to create an Organic Landfill. "LAYERS OF A LANDFILL"
Our 1st grade class has taken recycled paper plates and transformed them into spooky,monster faces!

Here we have a very excited Kindergartner! They are taking recycled water bottles and using them as a printing tool! "PRINTING GREEN"
Another spooky Creature! Our other 1st grade class has created monsters out of recycled water bottles for their body and recycled paper plates for faces! How creative they are! "WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE"
