This is Mr. Martin, your superintendent of schools.
Bentworth School District is working to provide support to families during this time off from school. Beginning Monday, March 16, if your child receives free or reduced lunch, the District can provide a breakfast and lunch for them while we are out of school.
If you are in need of this support, please call 724-239-5911 ext 1278 and leave your child’s name and five digit ID by 8:00 PM the night before OR email Mr. Morrell at [email protected] by 8:00 PM the night before.
To begin this process, you will be able to pickup your food between the hours of 10:30 and 12:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in the front of Bentworth High School. On Wednesday, we will reassess the need and determine if a different method of distribution is needed.
In addition, please feel free to speak with neighbors and pick up for more than one family. However, please be sure they have called in or emailed the student names by 8:00 pm so the food may be prepared.
Also, in the near future we will be providing information regarding Blessing support though our call system and social media post.
